Two friends walking together at golden hour

For your inner circle — not the internet

Post a goal. Let your people show up.

A race. A kitchen. A certificate. Share it with the people who already know you — they can cheer for free, react with an emoji, or send $5–$50 to say they mean it. Not a public fundraiser.

Cheernook takes 1% + card fees — the rest goes to you.

01

Post a goal

A title, a short story, an optional amount. Keep it personal — this is not a fundraiser for strangers.

02

Share the link

One caption, every app: Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, X, email. Or copy the link.

03

They show up

A note, a few dollars, a “you’ve got this.” Every cheer is recorded on the goal.

Not sure what counts

Goal ideas people post

If it matters to you, it fits. Here’s the range people actually post.

Run a first 10K

Training miles, race entry, new shoes.

Finish a marathon

26.2 miles, one big cheer section.

Complete a triathlon

Swim, bike, run — and a lot of gear.

Hike a 14er

Boots, permits, and a sunrise summit.

Why small gifts work

A little encouragement goes a long way

Giving lights up the brain’s reward system — a “helper’s high” much like exercise does — and it’s linked to lower stress for the person sending it, too. On the other side, a goal your circle can see and is actively cheering for is harder to quietly drop than a private intention. A cheer takes ten seconds and costs less than a coffee, but it tells someone their goal is real, and that somebody’s paying attention.
